FamaLink (Farm To Market Application) is a community-based digital platform designed to strengthen the capacity of rural farming communities across Zimbabwe. We empower farmers to engage in sustainable and profitable agriculture through direct market access, proper agricultural resource management, and digital tools that connect them to buyers, transporters, advisors, and financiers.
The philosophy behind FamaLink is premised on the understanding that Zimbabwean farmers have always possessed the skills and determination to produce quality agricultural products. What they lacked was fair market access, transparent pricing, and the digital tools to compete in modern agricultural trade.
FamaLink emerged as a homegrown solution to address these challenges within Zimbabwe's agricultural sector. We use a farmer-first approach, mobile-first technology, multi-stakeholder engagement (connecting farmers with buyers, transporters, advisors, and input suppliers), and a socially inclusive model that brings in smallholder farmers, women farmers, and youth in agriculture.
